Frequently asked questions
No, we are insurance free. We have found that many of the services we provide are not covered by insurance or that insurance companies want to dictate how we provide care to our patients. This is not inline with the high level of care we expect for our patients. Therefore we have opted out of this model.
Yes. Your primary care doctor provides your well checks, urgent care visits and preventative screenings that are generally covered by insurance plans.
Yes. We encourage our patients to keep medical insurance in case of catastrophic events and for routine preventive services.
Functional Medicine assessments often involve testing that may not be covered by insurance i.e. stool testing, toxin evaluations, food sensitivity testing. These costs will be provided to you during your evaluation and you make the final determination on which tests you complete. Medications and nutritive supplements may also be recommended which will be an out of pocket expense.
Payment is due on the time of service. We accept cash, cards and check.
